Demolition Complete for 45-Story Tower at 570 Fulton Street in Fort Greene, Brooklyn

Demolition is complete at 570 Fulton Street, the site of a 45-story mixed-use tower in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Davis Companies, which took over for Slate Property Group in late 2020, the 200,000-square-foot structure will yield 123 apartments above 87,000 square feet of commercial space. The property is located on a plot bound by Fulton Street to the north, Flatbush Avenue to the west, and Rockwell Place to the east.

Astoria Houses Opens On-Site Testing and Vaccination Center at 4-25 Astoria Boulevard in Queens

Elected officials recently celebrated the opening of a new COVID-19 testing and vaccination center at Astoria Houses. Located at 4-25 Astoria Boulevard in Astoria, Queens, the facility sits inside repurposed shipping containers and was designed in partnership by research teams from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and The Tuchman Foundation.

Housing Lottery Launches for 64 Scholes Street Senior Housing in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 64 Scholes Street, an eight-story senior housing building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Arker Companies, the structure yields 65 residences and community facility space. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 44 units for residents at 60 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $38,263 to $57,300.

Permits Filed for 130 Beach 120th Street in Rockaway Park, Queens

Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 130 Beach 120th Street in Rockaway Park, Queens. Located between Rockaway Beach Boulevard and the ocean promenade, the lot is in walking distance of the Rockaway Park – Beach 116th Street subway station, serviced by the A train. Dennis Druzhinsky under the 130 Beach 120 Rockaway LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

One Boerum Place Opens for Occupancy in Downtown Brooklyn

Occupancy has begun at One Boerum Place, a 22-story residential building in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Avery Hall Investments, Allegra Holdings, and Aria Development Group, the $250 million project yields 96 market-rate rentals designed by Gachot Studios in one- to four-bedroom layouts, as well as a range of indoor and outdoor amenities. Leeding Builders Group served as the general contractor for the property, which is bound by Boerum Place to the west, Fulton Street to the north, and Red Hook Lane to the east.

Permits Filed for 87 Irving Place in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn

Located between Putnam Avenue and Fulton Street, the lot is three blocks from the Franklin Avenue subway station, serviced by the C train. 200 Montague Street’s Dark Façade Takes Shape in Brooklyn Heights

Façade work is continuing on 200 Montague Street, a 20-story residential building in the Borough Hall Skyscraper Historic District of Brooklyn Heights. Designed by Beyer Blinder Belle with James M. Patterson of Ancora Engineering and developed by Midtown Equities, the 140,700-square-foot structure will yield 121 rental units marketed by M.N.S. Real Estate NYC for Aurora Capital Associates. Cauldwell Wingate is the general contractor for the property, which is located between Court and Clinton Streets.

Designed by MdeAS Architects and SLCE Architects and developed by Jeff Mongno of The Feil Organization, the 496-foot-tall skyscraper will yield 475,000 square feet with 363 residential units and 100,000 square feet of commercial space. The property is located at the corner of Fulton Street and Red Hook Lane.
