Occupancy is available for Selene, a 63-story residential skyscraper at 100 East 53rd Street in Midtown. Designed by Norman Foster of Foster + Partners, the slender 711-foot-tall reinforced concrete edifice is wrapped in a sleek undulating glass curtain wall and yields 94 bespoke residences with prices starting at $1.875 million dollars. Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing is handling sales and marketing of the homes, which range from pied-à-terre one-bedrooms to sprawling full-floor layouts. 100 East 53rd Street is located at the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 53rd Street, directly across Lexington Avenue from the Citigroup Center and directly behind Seagram Building, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Lalezarian Properties, the 210-foot-tall structure yields 59,323 square feet with 61 residential units in a mix of studios,  one- and two-bedroom layouts, and full-floor spreads. The property is located between Greenwich and Hudson Streets and is surrounded by a wave of new construction including headquarters for Disney and Google.

YIMBY Scopes Panoramic Views From Olympia at 30 Front Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn

YIMBY went to check out the views from Olympia, a 33-story residential building at 30 Front Street in DUMBOBrooklyn. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Fortis Property Group, the 401-foot-tall sail-shaped tower will yield 76 condominiums designed by Workstead. The units will come in one- to five-plus-bedroom layouts with sales and marketing led by Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes of the Eklund Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman and Karen Heyman at Sotheby’s. Urban Atelier Group is managing the ongoing construction, Manhattan Concrete created the superstructure, and King Contacting Group is in charge of the CMU work, exterior insulation finish systems, and roofing for the project, which is bound by Front Street to the north, Washington Street to the east, and York Street to the south.
