Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 107 Schaefer Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located between Evergreen Avenue and Central Avenue, the lot is close to the Wilson Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Ben Sadykov under the 107 Schaefer LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Construction is ascending steadily at 9 DeKalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn, the first supertall project in the outer boroughs. The reinforced concrete superstructure currently stands around 28 stories tall, more than one-third of its 73-story total. Designed by SHoP Architects and developed by JDS, the 1,066-foot-tall skyscraper will yield 425 rental apartments and 150 condominiums.
The Atwater has officially launched leasing in Bogota, New Jersey. The picturesque riverfront development is located at 1000 West Fort Lee Road and comprises 303 rentals in addition to over 30,000 square feet of amenity spaces.
Excavation could begin soon at 151 Bay Street, the site of a 33-story mixed-use tower that will make up the third phase of Jersey City’s Provost Square complex. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Toll Brothers, the project will integrate part of the façade of the former A&P Annex Building, which has been stripped down to its concrete frame. The new structure will rise at the corner of Provost Street and Bay Street and yield 259 residential units, 6,289 square feet of retail space, and a parking garage with 218 spaces. Twelve units are to be designated as live-work units, with one for an artist in residence.
Construction has passed the halfway mark at 308 Livingston Street, a 23-story residential building in Downtown Brooklyn. The project, which will yield 160 rental units, is designed by Fogarty Finger Architecture and is being developed by Lonicera Partners, which purchased the lot in May 2019 for $11 million.
