Construction is continuing on The Greenwich, an 88-story residential skyscraper at 125 Greenwich Street in Manhattan’s Financial District. Designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects and developed by Fortress Investment Group, Bilgili, and Bizzi & Partners, the 912-foot-tall structure will yield 273 condominium units designed by March & White (MAWD) and marketed by Douglas Elliman Marketing Development, which is aiming to launch sales later this fall. Homes will range from studios to three-bedroom layouts with pricing starting at $1.15 million. Time Square Construction and Plaza Construction are the general contractors for the property, which is located at the corner of Greenwich and Thames Streets, just south of the World Trade Center complex and Liberty Park.

Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by Aurora Capital Associates, the 120-foot-tall structure will span 105,804 square feet and yield 15 condominium units, as well as 200 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, a cellar level, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 20 enclosed parking spaces. 134 Jane Street LLC is the owner and Titanium Construction Services Inc. is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Jane and West Streets along the Hudson River waterfront.

Designed by Page Ayres Cowley Architecture, LLC for 1290 Madison LLC, the project involves the conversion of the interiors to yield ten condominium units spanning 21,600 square feet, the construction of a one-story addition above the parapet, the restoration of the Renaissance Revival façade, and modernization of the 3,600 square feet of ground-floor retail space. First Standard Construction is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Madison Avenue and East 92nd Street.

27-49 Jackson Avenue’s Expanded Superstructure Tops Out in Long Island City, Queens

Construction has topped out on 27-49 Jackson Avenue, a 14-story residential building in Long Island CityQueens. Originally designed by Raymond Chan Architect and developed by ARCFE, the project stalled in 2020 after only seven floors were built on the westernmost edge of the plot. Work resumed in early 2022 under the ownership of 27-51 Jackson Avenue with an expanded scope, including a wider footprint that extends to the east, and an additional seven levels were built on top. The 161-foot-tall structure will yield 34 apartments on levels three through 14, with no more than four units per story. IX Construction Inc. is the new general contractor for the property, located at the corner of Jackson Avenue and 42nd Road.
