Construction is complete on Gemma Gramercy, a 20-story residential building at 202 East 23rd Street in Gramercy Park, Manhattan. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by SMA Equities, the 233-foot-tall, 95,000-square-foot structure is engineered to Passive House standards and yields 108 rental apartments in studio to two-bedroom layouts, with 28 designated for affordable housing, as well as ground-floor retail space. KSK Construction Group served as the general contractor and REAL New York is leading marketing and sales for the project, which is located at the corner of East 23rd Street and Third Avenue on the border with Kips Bay.

Exterior Work Nears Completion on 312 West 43rd Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Façade installation is nearing completion on 312 West 43rd Street, a 33-story residential building on the southern border of Hell’s Kitchen in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by National Real Estate Advisors and Taconic Partners, the 401-foot-tall structure will yield 330 rental units, 28,000 square feet of amenities, and two floors of retail space. DeSimone Consulting Engineers is the structural engineer and Triton Construction is the general contractor for the project, which is located between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, directly north of the Port Authority Bus Terminal and its subway station, servicing the A, C, and E trains.
