Hill West Architects Reveals Renderings for Massive Waterfront Complex in Flushing, Queens

The Flushing Willets Point Corona Local Development Corporation recently submitted proposals to New York City’s Department of City Planning to facilitate the redevelopment of a 29-acre stretch of waterfront industrial property and surrounding lands in Flushing, Queens. The proposals were drafted in collaboration with Langan Engineering and Environmental Services and contain new renderings from Hill West Architects offering a first look at what’s to come.

Permits Filed for 1 Park Row, Financial District, Manhattan

Permits have been filed by an anonymous LLC for a new three-story commercial building at 1 Park Row, in the Financial District. The site is in a prime location for retail, with proximity to the Fulton Street Station, the World Trade Center’s Oculus transit hub, as well as several other subway stops for just about every subway line that runs through Manhattan. The site is right on the southern tip of Steven Flanders Square, home to City Hall.

Five-Story Building At 55 Gansevoort Street To Be Converted Into 14-Key Hotel, Meatpacking District

Restoration Hardware is planning to convert the five-story, 25,000 square-foot building at 55 Gansevoort Street, in the Meatpacking District, into a 14-key boutique hotel. According to Crain’s, the ground floor of the building will feature a restaurant. Delshah Capital owns the five-story building, but Restoration Hardware — whose flagship store is located around the corner of 9th Avenue — has leased the entire property.
