Steel Facade of No. 33 Park Row, Begins to Rise in The Financial District

Work on One Beekman Street, aka “Pearl on the Park,” is another step closer to completion, as the dark-colored steel frame that will sit in between the floor-to-ceiling windows has begun to go up. This will accentuate the upcoming 25-story apartment building and lend it a more distinctive and detailed appearance. The project is being designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners while Urban Muse is the developer. There will be 31 units inside the 331-foot-tall tower with views overlooking City Hall Park. This will be Richard Rogers’ first residential project in New York City.

Rooftop Views & Interior Update on Supertall 175 Greenwich Street, aka 3 World Trade Center, As Opening Day Approaches

Last week, YIMBY was taken on a tour of 175 Greenwich Street, aka 3 World Trade Center, visiting the rooftop, the terrace, and the lobby. The building, located in the heart of the Financial District, has made incredible progress, with the façade now complete save for windows connected to the exterior hoist. Interior work is also approaching the finish line.

175 Greenwich Street Almost Finished, Glass Reaches Pinnacle

There has been no bigger development saga in Manhattan than the rebuilding of the World Trade Center, and while it may not seem glaringly obvious, things took a major step forward this week as the glass atop 175 Greenwich Street reached the building’s parapet. It will still take another few months for the southern and eastern sides of the supertall, aka Three World Trade Center, to be completely enclosed, but both northern and western fronts are now fully complete.
