Applications filed with the DOB show that the new 16-story structure will have 13,510 square feet of residential space, to be divided amongst nine units, translating into an average size of 1,500 square feet. That means condominiums are exceedingly likely, and several of the residences will take up multiple floors. Victor Suben of Royal Engineering, P.C. is the architect of record, and Allen Shahipour, of Amona Realty Group, is listed as the developer. Demolition permits for the existing two-story home were filed back in March.

Last year, the same developer renovated the three-story townhouse next door, at 165 MacDougal Street, into three apartments.
