For the first time, Jean-Michel Basquiat’s family has organized a show of rare and never-before-seen works since the artist’s untimely death in 1988. The family has partnered with internationally acclaimed architect David Adjaye to design the exhibition, which launches April 9 at the Starrett-Lehigh Building, at 601 West 26th Street in West Chelsea.
French design house Hermès has signed a 71,757-square-foot lease at 550 Madison Avenue, Philip Johnson’s landmarked commercial tower in Midtown East, Manhattan. The sprawling new office will span three full levels across the 23rd through 25th floors.

Located at the intersection of Flatbush Avenue and Dekalb Avenue, the lot is steps from the Dekalb Avenue subway station, serviced by the B, Q, and R trains. The property is owned by Long Island University, but RXR Realty under the LIU PII Developer TRS LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for The Willoughby, a 34-story mixed-use building at 196 Willoughby Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by Perkins Eastman and developed by RXR Realty, the structure yields 476 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 143 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $86,503 to $167,570.
Leasing is now underway at One Clinton Park, a new 28-story mixed-use tower with 352 rental units. Located at 55 Clinton Place in New Rochelle, One Clinton Park is RXR Realty’s latest development in the city’s downtown neighborhood and is on track to open this spring.
