Construction of the curtain wall of 25 Great Jones Street, aka 22 Bond Street, is moving swiftly. The thin steel fins that run vertically down the length of the main elevation in front of the floor-to-ceiling glass panels have been installed. Located in NoHo between Great Jones Street and Bond Street, the 11-story condominium building is designed by BKSK Architects and developed by Second Development Services and Richport Group. The structure will contain six units with prices starting at $9.8 million, and will include a penthouse that reportedly spans about 4,000 square feet.

Work on 25 Great Jones Street, aka 22 Bond Street, is another step closer to completion. This will be a new 11-story condominium project in the NoHo neighborhood. The exterior glass on the northern elevation is finished while the first segments of the dark-colored steel fins on the upper floors of the building have begun installation. A total of six units will begin at $9.8 million with the penthouse reportedly set to span about 4,000 square feet.
Permits have been filed for an eight-story school at 156 17th Street, in Greenwood, Brooklyn. The site is nine blocks away from both the 25th Street Station and 9th Street Station, serviced by the D, N, R, and W trains. SDS Brooklyn will be responsible for the development, which suggests this will not be a public school.

This past summer, the 11-story, six-unit condominium project at 25 Great Jones Street/22 Bond Street, in NoHo, received construction financing, and now work is underway, EV Grieve reports. The 14-story structure – what was once a stalled-out hotel project – is currently being horizontally expanded to sit flush with Great Jones’ street wall. Floors 12 through 14 will eventually be removed, but that demolition work has not yet begun. Although the block-thru development fronts Great Jones, BKSK Architects designed a four-story steel façade for Bond Street. Second Development Services and Richport Group are developing.
