941-Foot-Tall Tower Proposed as Rezoning Effort Begins for 625 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn

One of Brooklyn’s largest new developments has been proposed along Flatbush Avenue, at 625 Fulton Street, which could rise 941 feet to its rooftop. The site is a large trapezoidal piece of land just steps away from JDS Development’s 9 DeKalb Avenue. A major rezoning plan has been put forth that could potentially bring close to 1,800,000 gross square feet of mixed-use development to the nearly 89,000 square foot property, measuring about two acres in size. The site is bounded by Fulton Street to the south, Hudson Avenue to the west, DeKalb Avenue to the north, and Rockwell Place to the east.

Work Nearing Completion for 570 Broome Street in Hudson Square

570 Broome Street is one of several new projects rising within the Hudson Square district west of Soho. The 25-story building is designed by Builtd while Skidmore Owings & Merrill designed the lobby and interiors. Murat Agirnasli and Partners are the developers. It is set to yield 54 condominiums that look towards the Lower Manhattan skyline and the Hudson River. Work on the outside is nearing completion while interior progress is also making headway.

YIMBY Tours Brookfield’s Manhattan West Development, First Look at Rooftop Views

Brookfield has officially celebrated the topping out of the 67-story One Manhattan West, aka OMW, the largest of six structures in their six million square foot Manhattan West development in Midtown West. The project has successfully lured several large companies to lease, and plans to add a significant amount of public space to the city.
