As reported by YIMBY in August of 2018, GDS Development filed permits to develop a 22-floor commercial tower at the corner of 31st Street and Broadway. Renderings have finally arrived from architects Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill (SOM) and reveal a minimalist, glowing façade and several open-air terraces.

Construction has kicked-off on Pendry Hotels’ premier New York City location, at 4 Manhattan West. The 21-story hotel is officially named Pendry Manhattan West, and will offer 164 guest rooms and a selection of condominiums positioned on the tower’s upper levels.
One of Brooklyn’s largest new developments has been proposed along Flatbush Avenue, at 625 Fulton Street, which could rise 941 feet to its rooftop. The site is a large trapezoidal piece of land just steps away from JDS Development’s 9 DeKalb Avenue. A major rezoning plan has been put forth that could potentially bring close to 1,800,000 gross square feet of mixed-use development to the nearly 89,000 square foot property, measuring about two acres in size. The site is bounded by Fulton Street to the south, Hudson Avenue to the west, DeKalb Avenue to the north, and Rockwell Place to the east.
570 Broome Street is one of several new projects rising within the Hudson Square district west of Soho. The 25-story building is designed by Builtd while Skidmore Owings & Merrill designed the lobby and interiors. Murat Agirnasli and Partners are the developers. It is set to yield 54 condominiums that look towards the Lower Manhattan skyline and the Hudson River. Work on the outside is nearing completion while interior progress is also making headway.
The latest Upper West Side tower designed by Skidmore Owings and Merrill is sealing up. It has ten months since the 33-story residential building at 1865 Broadway topped out, and just now the façade has finally reached the top.
