New Rendering Revealed for RAMSA’s 42-Story Tower Planned at 3041 Broadway in Morningside Heights

The first official rendering surfaced in the YIMBY Forums of the 42-story mixed-use condominium building coming to 3041 Broadway in Morningside Heights. Also known as 100 Claremont Avenue, the tower is designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects and will contain a mix of private residences and institutional space that includes offices, faculty housing, and classrooms. Located between West 120th and 122nd Streets, the new structure will rise adjacent to the historic Union Theological Seminary complex. 3041 Broadway is being developed by L&M Development Partners and Lendlease, with SLCE Architects as the architect of record.

One Wall Street’s Residential Conversion and Retail Addition Progresses in Financial District

The residential conversion and retail addition at One Wall Street continues to take shape in the Financial District. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Macklowe Properties, the projected $1.5 billion undertaking is the largest office-to-condominium conversion in New York City history. In addition to the creation of 566 residential units with sales handled and marketed by CORE, the project will also add a 44,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market and a Life Time fitness center to the lower levels of the building.

It appears that Robert A. M. Stern Architects‘ 220 Central Park South is finally reaching full completion. The 950-foot-tall, 67-story residential skyscraper tower stands between Seventh Avenue and Columbus Circle and features 593,000 square feet of some of the most expensive living space in New York City. Vornado Realty Trust is the developer of the $1.4-billion-dollar project and expects a $3.4 billion sellout. SLCE Architects is the executive architect, while Thierry W. Despont is the interior designer.

611 West 56th Street’s Limestone Panels Begin Reaching Skyward, in Hell’s Kitchen

Curtain wall installation has begun at 611 West 56th Street, aka 823 Eleventh Avenue, a 37-story condominium building in Hell’s Kitchen. Located near the Hudson River at the northwestern corner of West 56th Street and Eleventh Avenue, the 450-foot-tall project is designed by Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza and is being developed by Sumaida + Khurana and LENY, with SLCE as the architect of record. Gabellini Sheppard Associates is in charge of interior designs for the 80 units.
