A new four-story apartment building in the Charlotte Gardens section of the South Bronx may soon break ground following the release of architectural renderings from the project team. The development is located at 1432 Vyse Avenue and will eventually comprise 6,128 square feet of residential area.
Construction has started on Park Haven Apartments, a new mixed-income apartment complex in Mott Haven, The Bronx. Located at the corner of East 142nd Street and St. Ann’s Avenue, the ten-story building includes 178 residential units, a ground-level grocery store, and community facilities.
Construction has topped out on two buildings within La Central, a 1.1-million-square-foot development in the South Bronx. Designed in collaboration by MHG Architects, FXCollaborative, and Future Green Studio, the new structures represent the second phase of La Central’s three-phase masterplan.
Park Avenue Green, a new affordable housing community in the South Bronx is officially the largest Passive House development in North America. Defined by a stringent checklist of sustainable requirements, the project’s design reduces the expenditure of energy by incorporating a thoroughly sealed building envelope, advanced ventilation systems, low-energy cooling systems, and rooftop solar panels.

Union Crossing is a new mixed-use project that will combine contemporary commercial office space and retail opportunities for newcomers to the historic neighborhood. It is designed by Woods Bagot, while the developers include Madison Realty Capital, The Altmark Group, The Bluestone Group, and Galil Management. JRT Realty is the exclusive leasing agent for the venture.
