The 43-story building stands across the street from Dutch Kills Green Park, a small, pleasant public park that is rising in relevance. The Queens Plaza subway station is just one block away, and the Queensboro Plaza station is four blocks further, giving future tenants access to the E, M, N, R, W, and 7 trains.

As the Long Island City boom continues into the end of the decade, several projects that were permitted back in 2014 are approaching their opening day. Among those is the 43-story 29-22 Northern Boulevard, located across the street from Dutch Kills Green Park and Queens Boulevard. Today, we have a fresh rendering for what it will imminently look like, as well as word that it has received an official name of ‘ALTA LIC’. The building’s address has also been modified, from the original 29-26 Northern Boulevard.

41-Story, 223-Unit Mixed-Use Tower Rises to 33rd Floor at 38 West 33rd Street, Midtown South

Construction is underway on the 33rd floor of the 41-story, 223-unit mixed-use building under development at 38-46 West 33rd Street, in Midtown South. Progress on the structure, which includes façade installation, can be seen thanks to photos posted to the YIMBY Forums. The latest building permits indicate the tower, upon completion, will encompass 220,724 square feet and rise 404 feet to its upper roof, not including bulkhead elements.
