The exterior glass curtain wall of 74 Trinity Place has reached its 424-foot tall roof parapet in the Financial District. The bronze-trimmed, 26-story superstructure stands directly behind Trinity Church and is being designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and developed by Trinity Real Estate. Stephen B. Jacobs Group is the executive architect of the 310,000-square-foot building.

Permits have been filed for a 12-story affordable housing building at 2850 Webster Avenue in Fordham Manor, The Bronx. Located between Oliver Place and East 199th Street, the lot is one block from the Botanical Garden stop on the Metro-North. The closest subway station is Kingsbridge Road, serviced by the B and D trains. Russell Lang of Douglaston Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
At the end of 2018, residents began moving into the 467 units at ALTA LIC. The 44-story high-rise, located at 29-22 Northern Boulevard, was designed by the Stephen B. Jacobs Group and developed by partners Simon Baron Development and Quadrum Global. Only ongoing interior work at the 11,372-square-foot retail space reminds passersby of recent construction. Already taller towers rise next door, however ALTA’s pivotal location, expressive façade, and distinctive crown assure the skyscraper’s enduring prominence on the rapidly-growing Long Island City skyline.
With the main facade beginning to shed the black construction netting and scaffolding, the dark-colored glazed bricks covering The Brooklyn Grove have begun to be unveiled. Standing above Boerum Hill just off of Flatbush Avenue, the new building is located at 10 Nevins Street. The 27-story residential tower will have 184 units comprised of studios to three-bedroom layouts. It is being designed by ODA, with Stephen B. Jacobs Group serving as the architect or record. Adam America Real Estate, Slate Property Group and Vanke US are the developers, while The Aguayo Team of Halstead Property Development Marketing is handling sales.
Back in 2015, plans were approved to begin construction on a number of high-end residential developments in the Downtown center of Mineola, Long Island in an effort to bolster and revitalize the growing community. That initiative includes construction of Mineola Village Green at 199 Second Avenue, a 266-unit residential project designed by local architects Stephen B. Jacobs Group for Lalezarian Properties.
