The New Rochelle Industrial Development Agency recently approved plans to construct a 100 percent affordable residential tower in the downtown center of New Rochelle. The 20-story property will take shape at 11 Garden Street and is designed by architect Stephen B. Jacobs Group.
Construction appears substantially complete on Trinity Commons, a 26-story mixed-use tower planned to open next year at 74 Trinity Place in the Financial District. Alternately addressed as 107 Greenwich Street, the 424-foot-tall building is designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and developed by Trinity Real Estate, with Stephen B. Jacobs Group as the executive architect.
Earlier this week, the New York Botanical Gardens and Douglaston Development announced a collaboration to complete two new affordable housing projects in The Bronx’s Bedford Park. The buildings will take shape near the northwest corner of the New York Botanical Gardens at 2856 Webster Avenue and 410 Bedford Park Boulevard.
Excavation and foundation work is moving along at 2551 Broadway, site of a 276,578-square-foot mixed-use building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Permits filed in early February list Stephen B. Jacobs Group as the architect of record and Tyler Workman under the Paragon JV Prop III LLC as the owner behind the applications for the project, which will rise 22 stories at the corner of 96th Street. The property will contain 130 residences spread across 215,866 square feet, for an average scope of 1,660 square feet, most likely indicating condominiums. The building will also feature 9,080 square feet of commercial space.
Construction has topped out on 3 Sutton Place, an 847-foot-tall residential skyscraper at 430 East 58th Street in Midtown East. Designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen and developed by Gamma Real Estate with Stephen B. Jacobs Group as the executive architect, the 62-story tower will contain 121 residential units. The project site is located between Sutton Place South and First Avenue.
