Sales have launched this week on condominium residences in a new residential development at 575 Fourth Avenue in South Slope, Brooklyn. Designed by Fischer+Makooi for The Daten Group, the 12-story building contains 70 units that range from one to four bedrooms.

A year ago, the Daten Group paid $24 million for eight properties on Fourth Avenue between 16th Street and the Prospect Expressway in South Slope. Now we have a look at the 11-story condo building headed for the site at 581 Fourth Avenue.
Late last year, YIMBY brought you news of Rabsky Group’s 12-story, 129-rental-unit building planned at 581 Fourth Avenue, in South Slope, and then renderings surfaced of the Karl Fischer-designed structure over the summer. Now, The Daten Group is paying $24 million for the assemblage, and the 12-story building will instead have 65 condominiums. Kutnicki Bernstein Architects is replacing Fischer, and demolition of the existing low-rise structures at 575-581 4th Avenue and 189-195 Prospect Avenue will begin in the fall. Applications have recently been approved by the DOB for a seven-story, 39-unit mixed-use building at 840 Fulton Street, in southern Clinton Hill, and now Brownstoner has the reveal for the Kutnicki Bernstein-designed project. The Daten Group is developing, and the 20,755 square-foot building will include 1,400 square feet of retail on the ground floor. The existing gas station was approved for demolition in May.
Commercial Observer has the reveal of The Daten Group’s seven-story, 46-unit luxury rental building planned for the vacant lot at 600 Harrison Street, in Hoboken, New Jersey. First Niagara Bank has provided $15 million on construction funding to the developer. Nastasi Architects is designing, and construction appears imminent.
