Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 3168 Villa Avenue, in Jerome Park, The Bronx. The site is four blocks away from the Bedford Park Boulevard subway station on Grand Concourse, serviced by the D trains, and six blocks away from an identically named station serviced by the 4 trains. Propco Holdings will be responsible for the development.
Earlier this month, permits were filed for a large residential development in a spear-shaped plot of land at 3254 and 3258 Parkside Place. The project is the largest development filed in the Norwood neighborhood since 3084 Webster Avenue, in October of 2015. Today, YIMBY has the first renderings for the project, sent along by its developer U.A. Builders, revealing both the full scope, and an optimistic prediction on the future of Metro North.
A rendering has been released for the proposed building at 2065-2067 Ryer Avenue, in the Fordham Heights neighborhood of The Bronx. The structure will command a significant presence in the up-and-coming neighborhood. It will be the tallest building on a block otherwise occupied by three and four-story apartment blocks. That said, the immediate surrounding area is filled with buildings of similar height, such as the one depicted in the right corner of the rendering. UA Builders Group is responsible for the development.
Permits have been filed for two six-story buildings at 3254 and 3258 Parkside Place, in the Norwood neighborhood of The Bronx. The site is four blocks away from the Williams Bridge train station, serviced by Metro North. Six blocks away is the 205th Street subway station, serviced by the D trains. The project will also be nearby the notable Woodlawn Cemetery, an expansive collection of some of the most ornate mausoleums and tombstones in the city. UA Builders Group will be responsible for the development.
