The blocks of Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side very rarely see new developments, but today, YIMBY has the scoop for new building applications filed at 1045 Madison Avenue, on the east side of the street between East 79th and East 80th Streets. There, the talented Peter Pennoyer will be designing a new 18-story condominium project for The Naftali Group.
The latest renderings reveal what’s coming to 40 East End, a 20-story condominium development rising on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Construction has been ongoing since 2015, when YIMBY first reported on the project. Lightstone is the developer.
An enormous new healthcare center has opened its doors on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The 740,000 square foot structure is located between 68th and 69th Street, on York Avenue, and is the latest addition to the New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center campus. Three different design firms, HOK, Ballinger, and Pei Cobb Freed & Partners worked in collaboration for the project.
Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 1299 3rd Avenue, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The site is three blocks away from the 77th Street subway station, serviced by the 4 and 6 trains, and four blocks away from the 72nd Street subway station, serviced by the Q train. Continental Ventures is responsible for the development.
Demolition permits have been filed for the existing structures at 1297 and 1299 3rd Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, between 74th and 75th Street. The site is three blocks away from the 77th Street subway station, serviced by the 4 and 6 trains, and four blocks away from the 72nd Street subway station, serviced by the Q trains. Continental Ventures is listed as responsible for the demolition.
