Located between Nostrand Avenue and Marcy Avenue, the lot is near the Flushing Avenue subway station, serviced by the G train. New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 1210 Simpson Street in Crotona Park East, The Bronx. Located between Home Street and Freeman Street, the lot is one block west of the Freeman Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. St. Peter’s Deliverance Ministries is listed as the owner behind the applications. According to the permit, the development appears to be a collaboration with national homelessness nonprofit Help USA.
In an exciting announcement from the Office of Governor Cuomo, the state has awarded development rights and construction funding for four new housing projects that will collectively create more than 2,700 affordable-supportive residential units.
