The project will technically be split between two buildings, but both will contain only retail space. Great Neck-based Frank Petruso is the architect of record, and the lot is currently being used for parking.
Property owner Andy Ho, operating under an anonymous LLC, has filed applications for a three-story, four-unit mixed-use building at the vacant lot of 150-30 12th Avenue, in northern Whitestone. The building will measure a total 8,490 square feet, which includes 4,100 square feet of retail/office space on the ground and cellar levels, and an 1,225 square-foot school on the second level. The four residential units will average 792 square feet, and Angelo Ng + Anthony Ng Architects Studio is the applicant of record.
