Located in Downtown Brooklyn, “The Amberly” is perhaps the most recently completed addition to the Borough’s burgeoning skyline. The project is Brooklyn’s first residential high-rise from international design firm Woods Bagot.
Another decades-long empty lot is about to be filled in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Permits were filed last week for a six-story mixed-use building at 510 Driggs Avenue, which revealed a new architect would lead the project. Today, YIMBY has the exclusive reveal for the redesign by Woods Bagot, showing a dramatically different appearance from ODA’s previous proposal.
Today, YIMBY has the reveal for some new renderings of the Gramercy Square residential complex, in Gramercy Park, Manhattan. The Chetrit Group and Clipper Equity are responsible for the project, which is comprised of four condominium buildings: The Tower at 215 East 19th Street, The Prewar at 225 East 19th Street, The Modern at 230 East 20th Street, and The Boutique at 220 East 20th Street. The Modern will be a new seven-story building, while the others will repurpose older structures for condominium use, with concurrent façade alterations. All are connected by way of 20,000 square feet of gardens.
As Jersey City’s waterfront boom only keeps getting bigger, the action over at Journal Square has taken a backseat, especially with the completion of the first tower within Journal Squared. But with that project’s second phase now getting ready to break ground, plans for the nearby One Journal Square are also apparently gearing to move forward.
Last time we reported on 120 Nassau Street, construction had reached 24 stories. The 33-story, 312,093 square-foot tower, at the intersection of Jay and Nassau streets in Downtown Brooklyn, has topped out and façade installation is well underway.
