Developed in conjunction with the New York City Department of Housing Preservation, 1297 East New York Avenue will soon add a new, ten-unit, affordable residential building to Brownsville, Brooklyn.
In an exclusive reveal, YIMBY has received renderings of an impending four-story affordable housing development planned for 379-383 Howard Avenue, in Brownsville, Brooklyn. If approved, the development would repurpose a currently vacant, two-lot assemblage on the corner of Howard Avenue and Bergen Street.
Full demolition permits have been filed for the four-story building at 192 Montague Street, also known as 200 Montague, in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn. The 46,000 square-foot office building was built in 1960, and has a total of three units across the four floors. In 2007, Midtown Equities acquired 200 Montague from HSBC Bank. There is also a retail component at the ground level. James M. Patterson of Ancora Engineering is listed as the applicant of record.
The New York City Department of Housing Preservation will soon announce the development of a new four-story residential project in the northeast corner of East New York, Brooklyn. The three-block assemblage comprises 223, 225, and 227 Vermont Street, but is currently referred to by the DOB as 223-227 Vermont Street. Today, YIMBY has the exclusive reveal for the renderings.

The nearest transit access is four city blocks away at the Nassau subway station, serviced by the G train. Located between Engert Avenue and Broome Street, the proposed development is two blocks east of McCarren Park. Frederick Rufrano of Ancar Development Properties LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
