Rockrose and the Battery Park City Authority (BPCA) have reached a new agreement to retain existing affordable units at Tribeca Pointe at 40 to 50 percent area median income through 2069. Prior to this agreement, the term of the 70 affordable units was set to expire by 2029.
Façade installation is nearing completion on the Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center, 138-foot-tall performance venue in the World Trade Center complex in the Financial District. Designed by REX with Davis Brody Bond Architects as the executive architect and developed by non-profit company The Perelman, the steel-framed edifice is located between Skidmore Owings & Merrill‘s One World Trade Center to the west, Vesey Street to the north, Fulton Street to the south, and Greenwich Street to the east. Sciame Construction, LLC is in charge of construction for the project.
The Howard Hughes Corporation has received necessary approvals to construct a new 26-story mixed use development at 250 Water Street in South Street Seaport, Manhattan. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), the tower will comprise a mix of market-rate and affordable rental apartments, an office component, retail space, and community facilities.
Melio is the first company to join Zero Irving, Union Square’s vertical technology campus and small business incubator. The fintech firm’s new office space will occupy 25,000 square feet spread across the building’s 15th and 16th floors.
Construction is progressing on 555 Greenwich Street, a 16-story office building in Hudson Square, Manhattan. Designed by COOKFOX Architects and developed by the joint venture Hudson Square Properties, which includes Trinity Church Wall Street, Hines, and Norges Bank Investment Management, the structure will yield 270,000 square feet and will connect on nearly every floor with an adjacent building at 345 Hudson Street via a horizontal overbuild. Together, the complex will comprise 715,000 leasable square feet. The property is located along Greenwich Street between Charlton and King Streets.
