Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 590 Myrtle Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Classon Avenue and Taaffe Place, the lot is three blocks north of the Classon Avenue subway station, serviced by the G train. Moses Karpen of Waterfront Property Management is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The New Rochelle Industrial Development Agency is reviewing plans to construct a 26-story mixed-use building at 316 Huguenot Street. Updated renderings seem to replace former proposals to construct a 14-story tower at the same location. The project is being developed by Allstate Ventures, LLC with designs rendered by Richard Bienenfeld Architect.
Last week Queens Community Board 2 voted to approve a 21-story mixed-use development at 42-11 9th Street in Long Island City. The commercial building with comprise 70,000 square feet of industrial space within the podium, 270,000 square feet of commercial office space, and 2,900 square feet of ground-level retail. A partnership between Titan Machine and RXR Realty is responsible for this project that will create over a thousand new jobs in the Long Island City’s Industrial Business Zone.
Construction is nearing topping out at 113 West 24th Street, a 39-story Marriott hotel in Chelsea. Designed by Stonehill & Taylor Architects and developed by Lam Generation, the tower will stand 420 feet tall and yield 360 rooms averaging around 380 square feet apiece. The site is located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.
