YIMBY checked in on the site of the ten-story Hudson Arts Building at 220 Eleventh Avenue in West Chelsea. Designed by Studios Architecture and developed by The Moinian Group, the structure will occupy an entire block between West 25th Street and West 26th Street. JLL is the exclusive leasing agent for the project, which is expected to welcome tenants by 2022.
A new rooftop bar and lounge at 234 Fifth Avenue may soon take shape in NoMad pending approvals from the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC). The five-story structure is located within the Madison Square North Historic District and currently functions as a co-working office managed by The Yard.
Permits have been filed for an 11-story mixed-use building at 1100 Myrtle Avenue in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Lewis Avenue and Broadway, the through lot is a five-minute walk to the Myrtle Avenue–Broadway subway station, serviced by the J, M, and Z trains. Shorewood Real Estate Group under the SWDM Myrtle LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Construction has topped out on One East Harlem, a 19-story mixed-use building at 201 East 125th Street in Harlem. Designed by S9 Architecture, the reinforced concrete structure prominently rises above its surroundings and will yield over 420,000 square feet of newly built space. Work broke ground last summer and required the demolition of a couple low-rise structures occupying the site. Richman Group Development, Bridges Development Group, and Monadnock Development are the developers of the project, and received a mix of public and private funding from Citigroup, the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and the New York City Housing Development Corporation.
Wilder Balter Partners and L+M Development have revealed new renderings of a mixed-use residential project located at 25 Maple Avenue in the heart of New Rochelle’s downtown district. Designed by architects Beyer Blinder Belle, the seven-story building will eventually comprise a mix of rental apartments, ground-floor retail, and associated parking.
