Construction is progressing on 108-112 North 6th Street, a two-story commercial building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Building Studio and developed by L3 Capital under the RS JZ Bedford-N 6TH, LLC, the structure will yield 15,440 square feet of divisible retail space and a rooftop terrace. McGowan Builders Inc. is the general contractor for the property, which is located on an interior lot between Wythe Avenue and Berry Street.

Excavation is moving along at 95 North 6th Street, the site of a forthcoming two-story development from 95 North 6th Street LLC in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. SRA Architecture and Engineering is listed at the applicant of record for permits filed earlier this year and MJM Associates Construction, LLC is the general contractor for the project, which is located on 25-foot-wide interior lot between Wythe Avenue and Berry Street.

Developers Complete $53M Renovation at 767 Third Avenue in Midtown East, Manhattan

The William Kaufman Organization and Sage have completed a $54 million renovation project at 767 Third Avenue, a high-rise office tower in Midtown East, Manhattan. The design team included FXCollaborative, the same architect that completed the tower in 1981, alongside Fogarty Finger.

Renderings Revealed for Sunset Pier 94 Studios on Hell’s Kitchen Waterfront, Manhattan

Renderings have been revealed for Sunset Pier 94 Studios, Manhattan’s first film and TV production studio, on the western edge of Hell’s Kitchen. Designed by Gensler and developed by Vornado Realty Trust in a public-private partnership with Hudson Pacific Properties, Blackstone, and the New York City Economic Development Corporation, the 266,000-square-foot structure will take shape along the Hudson River waterfront on a parcel long slated for redevelopment. Hudson Pacific Properties will manage leasing and operations and provide design oversight, and RBC and Ivanhoe Cambridge are providing $183 million in construction financing for the project, which is located directly across from DeWitt Clinton Park between West 52nd and West 54th Streets.

TF Cornerstone will soon welcome Chip City Cookies, an expanding New York City-based bakery, as a retail tenant at 278 Seventh Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative, the 14-story rental property known as Chelsea Centro opened in 2001 and comprises around 133,000 square feet. Chip City Cookies is expected to open at the beginning of next year.

Panepinto Properties has closed on a $193 million construction loan to complete Pathside, a 605-unit rental tower in Jersey City. Located at 499 Summit Avenue in the city’s Journal Square neighborhood, the building is designed by HLW International and will top out at 53 stories or about 566 feet.

A new rendering has been revealed for 360 Tenth Avenue, a proposed supertall commercial skyscraper in Midtown West, Manhattan. The structure will yield 1 million square feet of Class A office space. McCourt Global is the current owner of the property, which is situated between Brookfield Properties‘ Manhattan West complex and Related Companies‘ first phase of Hudson Yards, and bound by West 31st Street to the north, Dyer Avenue and West 30th Street to the south, and Tenth Avenue to the west.

Construction is complete on 155 West 29th Street, an 18-story Public Storage facility in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by Mancini Duffy Architects and developed by The Davis Companies along with joint venture partner Highland Development Ventures, the 180,000-square-foot structure contains 6,000 storage units. Cauldwell Wingate was the contractor for the project, which is located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.
