61 Fifth Avenue

61 Fifth Avenue is a 10-story piece of New York real estate intended for mixed-use. Architected by Alta Indelman, the building will feature retail space on the ground floor and spacious condominium apartments on the upper floors. There are three duplexes, each encompassing two floors and one triplex covers the top three floors. The building features a gorgeous custom-detailed limestone and brick exterior that respectfully blends with the lower 5th Avenue neighborhood, which is just outside the Greenwich Village Historic District. The building also features LEED certification.

The curvy-cool building has a history as well. Built in 1938, 61 Fifth Ave originally housed Schraff's luncheonette, which unfortunately burned down. Recently, artists have been showcasing their street-art on the former luncheonette, filling the void caused when Nolita's 11 Spring Street was buffed. The art will be removed when the building re-opens as luxury New York real estate and retail, but the memories will live on, and surely the artists will find a new location to make into a temporary masterpiece.
