1558 3rd AvenueDeveloper DDG has filed a slew of permits to begin construction of a 31-story and 44-unit residential building at 1558 3rd Avenue, on the Upper East Side; SOE, foundational and structural applications were filed simultaneously. First, a five-story tenement building must be demolished; demolition permits were approved in April.

Bronx:

1405 Edward L Grant HighwayJoseph Yunatanov has filed applications to construct a single-story and 9,695 square-foot commercial building at the vacant lot of 1405 Edward L Grant Highway, in Highbridge; Dal H Chun Engineering is the architect of record.

Brooklyn:

1255 Bushwick AvenueAn anonymous LLC has filed applications to construct a seven-story and 32-unit residential building of nearly 21,900 square feet at 1255 Bushwick Avenue, in Bushwick. A two-story religious structure will need to be demolished; Issac & Stern are designing.

169 Sackman StreetEny Sackman Associates have filed to construct a two-story and 9,000 square-foot manufacturing building at the vacant lot of 169 Sackman Street, in northern Brownsville.

46 Melrose StreetTej Ramlall has filed applications to construct a four-story and eight-unit residential building of 5,484 square feet at the vacant lot of 46 Melrose Street, in northwestern Bushwick. The site’s two-story predecessor was demolished in 1993; Banji Awosika is designing.

668 Halsey StreetAn anonymous LLC has filed applications to construct a four-story and two-unit residential building of 4,280 square feet at the vacant lot of 668 Halsey Street, in Bedford-Stuyvesant. The site’s two-story predecessor had been demolished in 1991; Gerald Caliendo is designing.

926 Pacific StreetGreat Pacific Street LLC has filed applications to construct a four-story and three-unit residential building of 4,230 square feet at the vacant lot of 926 Pacific Street, in northwestern Crown Heights. The site’s two-story predecessor was demolished in 2002; Banji Awosika is designing.

Queens: 

104-76 165th StreetIn addition to the new permits for No. 104-74, Plaza Homes has filed for another residential building of two stories and two units — spanning 4,420 square feet — at the vacant lot of 104-76 165th Street, in Jamaica; Kojo Simpson is designing both structures.

150-30 Roosevelt AvenueThe owners of 150-30 – 150-32 Roosevelt Avenue — in Murray Hill — are filing for twin, three-story and two-unit residential buildings of 3,804 square feet. Demolition of the former two-story, wood-framed structures at No. 150-30 and 150-32 was completed in April.

Staten Island:

8 Nino Court: Property owner John Larosa has filed applications to construct a three-story and two-unit residential building of 3,101 square feet at 8 Nino Court, a previously uncharted area of Tottenville.
