15 West 119th Street: An LLC has filed applications to construct a six-story, 13-unit residential building of 10,716 square feet at the vacant lot of 15 West 119th Street, in Harlem. The site’s three-story predecessor was demolished in 2001, and Melamed Architect is designing.

BROOKLYN:

2501 Pitkin Avenue: Cypress Hills Local Development has filed applications to begin construction of a seven-story, 58-unit residential and retail building of 66,803 square feet at the vacant lot of 2501 Pitkin Avenue, in East New York. Retail space will span 3,264 square feet, and Lacina Heitler Architects is designing.

824 Avenue R: Applications have been filed for a three-story, single-family home of 4,644 square feet at 824 Avenue R, in Sheepshead Bay. The existing three-story abode was approved for demolition in July, and Bohn Architecture is designing.

QUEENS:

62-11 Flushing Avenue: Applications have been filed for a three-story, six-unit residential and community building totaling 7,266 square feet at 62-11 Flushing Avenue, in Maspeth. An existing single-story structure must first be demolished, and City Building NY Architect is designing.

204-37 Rockaway Point Boulevard: Breezy Point Cooperative has filed applications for a two-story, single-family home of 2,860 square feet at 204-37 Rockaway Point Boulevard, in Breezy Point. An existing two-story structure was approved for demolition in September.

STATEN ISLAND:

270 Brighton Street: Applications have been filed for a three-story, single-family home of 2,638 square feet at the vacant lot of 270 Brighton Street, in Tottenville.

123 Lafayette Avenue: Applications have been approved for a three-story, single-unit mixed-use building of 2,141 square feet at the vacant lot of 123 Lafayette Avenue, in New Brighton. Nearly 1,000 square feet will be designated for commercial usage.
