Foundation work is underway on the eight-story, 63-unit mixed-use building under development at 470 Dean Street, located on the corner of Flatbush Avenue in Prospect Heights. Progress can be seen thanks to a photo posted to the YIMBY Forums. The latest building permits indicate the project will measure 101,831 square feet and rise 80 feet to it roof, not including bulkhead elements.

There will be 6,083 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The residential units, rental apartments averaging 798 square feet apiece, will be located across the second through eighth floors. In addition, a 110-car parking garage will fill three below-grade levels. PRD Realty is the developer and Avinash K. Malhotra Architects is the architect of record.

  1. I will count the numbers one-two-three-four-five-six-seven-eight, not including the bulkhead as usual.
