27 Brighton 11th Street In Brighton Beach, Brooklyn via NYC Housing Connect

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 27 Brighton 11th Street, a seven-story mixed-use building in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. Designed by RSLN Architecture and developed by Vahe Sahakyan of Build R US Corp., the structure yields 16 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $80,058 to $250,380.

Residences come with energy-efficient appliances, intercoms, in-unit dishwashers, and balconies for select units. Amenities include shared laundry room, a rooftop terrace, parking, and gym. Tenants are responsible for electricity including heat, hot water, and electric stove.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are three one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,335 for incomes ranging from $80,058 to $181,740; one two-bedroom with a monthly rent of $2,650 for incomes ranging from $90,858 to $218,010; and one three-bedroom with a monthly rent of $3,750 for incomes ranging from $128,572 to $250,380.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than June 10, 2024.
