Downtown Stamford, Connecticut, is about to see doors open for a brand new 26-story high-rise. The development by RXR Realty at 355 Atlantic Street, also known as Atlantic Station, is a fairly major addition to the satellite city’s emerging skyline.
The new structure totals 325 units, ranging from 490 to 1290 square feet. Each apartment is fitted with hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances, stone cabinets, and in-unit washing and drying. The building amenities include a fitness center, heated indoor pool, screening room, lounge, and 13,300 square feet of outdoor amenities. There is also a swimming pool that extends from inside to outside with a roll-up partition, as well as an outdoor lawn with a movie screen.
The building will include 333 parking spaces, and 20,520 square feet of retail space, aiming to be a fairly significant commercial destination for the city. Perhaps most appealing of all the features is the 45-minute commute from Atlantic Station to Grand Central by train, connecting tenants with New York City very quickly.
The architectural firm responsible for the project is Lessard Design, and opening is around the corner
