Exterior work is continuing on 76 Eighth Avenue, a ten-story commercial building in Greenwich Village. Designed in collaboration between Gene Kaufman Architect and RAAD Studios and developed by Sang Lee, Noviprop, and Plus Development, the 120-foot-tall structure will yield 30,000 square feet of office space and ground-floor retail at the corner of Eighth Avenue and West 14th Street.
Exterior work is nearing completion on 799 Broadway, a 12-story office building in Greenwich Village. Designed by Perkins + Wills and developed by Columbia Property Trust, the 182-foot-tall structure will yield 180,000 square feet of commercial space marketed by JLL. The corner lot is located at the intersection of Broadway and East 11th Street, and was purchased by Normandy Real Estate Partners and Ares Management in 2016 for $101 million.
Full demolition permits have been filed for 327 Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. According to the filing, the site is owned by William Gottlieb Real Estate. Located at the intersection of Christopher Street and Bleecker Street, the site currently houses a four-story mixed-use building with two residential units and three commercial units. The 53-foot-tall structure was built as a two-story house between 1832 and 1833.
Façade installation is progressing on 181 Mercer Street, NYU‘s 750,000-square-foot expansion in Greenwich Village. Designed by Davis Brody Bond and KieranTimberlake, the 23-story mixed-use project sits along Houston Street between Mercer and Bleecker Streets, directly to the east of I. M. Pei’s three-tower University Village complex.
