The exterior of 150 Greenwich is mostly complete, and Maki’s addition to the World Trade Center is clearly nicer than One World Trade – though significantly less dominant, as 150 Greenwich is almost 400 feet shorter. The tower’s glass is phenomenal, reflecting brilliantly from every angle – especially from the 9/11 memorial park.
With completion now imminent, 150 Greenwich will form the backbone of the new World Trade Center complex, along with its less-beautiful but much taller neighbor. Leasing for the tower has been steady, and has reached 50% – an indicator that both 175 Greenwich and 200 Greenwich will hopefully rise soon.
