Permits have been filed for an 11-story mixed-use building at 21-47 44th Drive in Long Island City, Queens. Located between 75th Street and 76th Street, the lot is one block north of the Freeman Street subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Hang Dong Zhang is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 7,996 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 12 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,004 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 34-foot-long rear yard.

Tan Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. vacant lot at an intersection that doesnt exist but would suggest being in elmhurst, not LIC. address is in LIC, in a lot that’s decidedly NOT vacant. and it’s near a subway station in the bronx. jesus, this is possibly the most inaccurate info ive ever seen on this site.
