Brooklyn-based JIH Builders Group has filed applications for a four-story, seven-unit residential building at 847 Madison Street, in northern Ocean Hill, located two blocks from the Gates Avenue stop on the J/Z trains. The structure will measure 6,671 square feet and its residential units should average 694 square feet apiece, which means rental apartments are in the works. There will be two apartments each on the ground through third floors, and a single full-floor apartment on the fourth floor. Rego Park-based Diego Aguilera Architects is the architect of record. A two-story, 25-foot-wide townhouse must first be demolished.
