Douglaston Development recently debuted an 18,000-square-foot medical facility at Crossroads Plaza, a mixed-use affordable housing development in The Bronx. The property is located at 828 East 149th Street in Mott Haven and will be operated by Essen Health Care.
RXR Realty recently celebrated the commencement of construction on 2413 Third Avenue, a 27-story residential tower in the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx. Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture, the development will comprise a mix of residences, parking, and ground-floor commercial area. 2413 Third Avenue arrives as RXR Realty’s first entry into the Bronx market.
The Jackson Group recently sold 2970 Third Avenue, a 25,000-square-foot retail property in the South Bronx, to 5 Boro Real Estate Partners for $8.75 million. The new owners intend to redevelop the property into a 100,000-square-foot mixed-use building.
Construction has broken ground on phase one of Bronx Point, a mixed-use development in the South Bronx. In addition to 542 affordable housing units, phase one includes construction of the Universal Hip Hop Museum, 2.8 acres of public open space, and a robust mix of community facilities.
