The Bronx boom continues apace, and today, new applications are up for a residential development at 174 Marine Street, in the borough’s City Island neighborhood, a fair ways away from any public transit.
The building will have 19,691 square feet of residential space, with only two floors, rising 35 feet to its rooftop. Within, there will be 16 units averaging over 1,200 square feet apiece, indicative of condominiums.
The complete lot size totals 80,197 square feet, and will include an enclosed parking structure for residents, with 48 spaces in all.
Andrew Fredman Architects is the architect of record, and GBC Inc. is the ownership entity listed on the applications. The site is currently a vacant lot.
