Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 305 Kingsland Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The site is two blocks from the Msgr. McGolrick Park, and twelve blocks away from the northern tip of McCarren Park and the Nassau Avenue subway station, serviced by the G trains. YME Construction is listed as responsible for the development.
The 61-foot tall structure will yield 10,820 square feet, with 7,730 square feet dedicated to residential use. Nine apartments will be created, averaging 860 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Two units will occupy each floor from the ground to the fourth floor, with the top floor fully occupied by a single penthouse unit. A laundry room will be created in the cellar.
Diego Aguilera Architects will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
