Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 111 Mulberry Street, in Little Italy, Manhattan. The site is two blocks east from the Canal Street subway station at Centre Street, serviced by the J and Z trains. Wing Cheung of One Eleven Property LLC is listed as behind the applications.

The 72-foot tall structure will yield 29,456 square feet, with 17,328 square feet dedicated to residential use and 5,560 square feet allocated to commercial space. 29 apartments will be created, averaging 598 square feet apiece, indicating rentals.

The concrete building will include a rear yard 30 feet long on the interior of the block. Fariba Makooi of Fischer + Makooi Architects, PLLC is listed as the site’s architect.

Demolition permits were filed in mid-September of this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
