Permits have been filed for a five-story apartment building at 785 East 34th Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Brooklyn Road and Farragut Road, the interior lot is three city blocks away from the Newkirk Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Joel Blatter of Five C’s is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot tall development will yield 12,116 square feet, with 8,743 square feet designated for residential space. It will have 13 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 672 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot long rear yard, and 17 enclosed parking spaces.
Tafadzwa Mwandiambira of Baobab Architects is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
