Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 4421 White Plains Road in Wakefield, The Bronx. Located between Nereid Avenue and East 239th Street, the interior lot is steps away from the Nereid Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Kim Tasher under the SKF Development LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 65-foot-tall development will yield 47,640 square feet, with 39,950 square feet designated for residential space, 1,429 square feet for commercial use, and 188 square feet for community facilities. The building will have 59 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 677 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a rooftop and a 76-foot-long rear yard.
Mohammad Badaly of Badaly Architect is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits were filed last month. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
