Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 526 56th Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Central Avenue and Hart Street, the corner lot is two blocks from the 53rd Street subway station, serviced by the R train. Qi Lin Chen of CF Brother Holding LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 39,284 square feet, with 7,584 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 677 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and penthouse, but no accessory parking.

Cheng-Yang Lee of Atelier CS is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed last month for the two-story residential building on the property. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Correction needed:
EAST 56th Street is in East Flatbush.
56th Street would be Sunset Park.

East 56th Street is in East Flatbush and nowhere near a subway. This is 56th Street, as you correctly say.
