Permits have been filed to expand a two-story structure into a four-story residential building at 153 East 51st Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Rutland Road and Winthrop Street, the lot is near the Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road subway station, serviced by the 3 train. Yuriy Rubinov of 3058 Bracha LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 45-foot-tall development will yield 1,980 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, with an average unit scope of 247 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar.
Chun Engineering Consultant is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
