643 Greenwich Street: The Church of St. Lukes in the Fields has filed a slew of applications to construct a 12-story and 45-unit building of 170,098 square feet at the vacant northeast corner of Greenwich and Barrow Streets — or 643-651 Greenwich Street — in the West Village; community space will amount to 75,521 square feet. The LPC approved the project last spring; construction is imminent.
Brooklyn:
1128 36th Avenue: Applications have been filed to begin excavation, foundation, and structural work on a planned seven-story and 27,800 square-foot mixed-use building at the vacant lots of 1128-1136 36th Avenue, in Borough Park; John Maniscalco is designing.
1415 67th Street: Andy Mak has filed applications for a three-story and nine-unit residential building of 6,000 square feet at the vacant lot of 1415 67th Street, in northern Bensonhurst; James Wu Chen is designing.
757 Bergen Street: Oren Even-Har is filing applications for a three-story and three-unit residential building of nearly 5,500 square feet at 757 Bergen Street, in northwestern Crown Heights; the filings come amid buildings proposed for Nos. 755 and 753 Bergen Street. A two-story wood-framed structure was approved for demolition yesterday; Yevgeniy Rybak is designing.
24 Huntington Street: Jonathan Chau — of 18 Huntington Realty LLC — has filed applications for three, three-story and three-unit residential buildings — each between 2,500 and 2,900 square feet — at the vacant lots of 20, 22 and 24 Huntington Street, in Red Hook; Edward Lui is designing.
Staten Island:
1087 Hylan Boulevard: John Noce — of an anonymous LLC — has filed applications to construct a single-story and 2,662 square-foot retail building at 1087 Hylan Boulevard, in Concord; the site was previously home to a gas station.
