59 South 4th Street [Curbed]: Construction is imminent, if not already begun, at KUB Capital’s six-townhouse development at 51-59 South 4th Street, in Williamsburg. Dubbed Wythe Lane Townhouses, completion is likely by the ed of 2015.
626 Flatbush Avenue [Brownstoner]: Façade installation is imminent at the 23-story and 254- residential and retail building currently under construction at 626 Flatbush Avenue, in Prospect Lefferts Gardens; completion is expected in early 2016.
783 Knickerbocker Avenue [Wyckoff Heights]: Renderings have been released for the residential conversion of an existing two-story building located at 783 Knickerbocker Avenue, in Bushwick. 38 units are planned to be delivered by next spring, and Charles Mallea is designing.
179 Suffolk Street [EV Grieve]: A new 10-story and 14-unit residential building at 179 Suffolk Street, on the Lower East Side, is currently at the eighth floor; the project has been in the works for four years, and signage indicates completion is expected later this year.
80 Columbus Drive [The Jersey Journal]: The Jersey City Council has given “approval of a 20-year tax exemption” for a 14-story and 152-room Marriott Hotel set to rise at 80 Columbus Drive, in Jersey City. The building is a part of the two-towered residential project on the same block, and opening is set for June 2016.
175-225 3rd Street [The Real Deal]: SL Green Realty has joined developer Kushner Companies and LIVWRK to acquire a “140,000 square-foot development site” at 175-225 3rd Street, in Gowanus. The developers have already entered contract, and “a commercial mixed-use project of up to 300,000 square feet” is possible.
