164 Delancey Street [Bowery Boogie]: Property owner Ashkenazy Investments has hired Massey Knakal to market the development site spanning 156-164 Delancey Street, on the Lower East Side, for $7.5 million. Nearly 20,000 square feet of development rights exist with the inclusionary housing bonus, and an existing single-story structure must first be demolished.
Culture Shed [Wall Street Journal]: Dubbed the Culture Shed — to sit in between 10 Hudson and 15 Hudson Yards, on the Far West Side — construction is “set to begin this year” on the six-story, $360 million multi-arts theater.
82-49 Parsons Boulevard [Queens Courier]: Dunn Development Corp. has “signed a 99-year lease with the city” to convert Queens Hospital Center’s 13-story T-Building — located at 82-49 Parsons Boulevard, in Hillcrest — into 205 residential units. No completion date has been announced.
Pierhouse at Brooklyn Bridge Park [Curbed]: Brooklyn Bridge Park’s 10-story, 108-unit and 200-key Pierhouse building — located at 90 Furman Street, in Brooklyn Heights — has topped out. Both residential and hotel components “are in the process of having their façades installed,” and construction is to wrap up later this year.
75-08 Broadway [Brownstoner]: The 5,851 square-foot lot at 75-08 Broadway, in northwestern Elmhurst, has been acquired by a LLC for $5.85 million. A single-story commercial structure currently occupies the site, but a new residential building “twice the size” could be built.
44-41 Purves Street [The Court Square Blog]: Rabsky Group’s 25-story, 284-unit building spanning 44-35 – 44-51 Purves Street, in Long Island City, has topped out. Façade can be seen half-way up the building, and completion is expected later this year.
