125 West 25th Street [The Real Deal]: Normandy Real Estate Partners have “secured a $72 million loan” for their planned renovation of the 12-story, 138,000 square-foot office and retail building at 119-125 West 25th Street, in Midtown South. Completion is anticipated for this Summer.
790 7th Avenue [The Real Deal]: Al Rayyan Tourism and Investment will acquire the 22-story and 689-key 970 7th Avenue, which measures roughly 500,000 square feet, for $535 million. The Theater District property contains 600,000 square feet of as-of-right potential.
47-16 Austell Place [Brownstoner]: Emmes Asset Management Company is planned to renovate the existing four-story building — located at 47-16 Austell Place, in Long Island City — “into a multi-tenant commercial complex,” with retail spanning the bottom floor. Construction is expected to be finished later this year.
210 Bowery [Bowery Boogie]: Renderings have been posted on-site for Arcadia Realty Trust’s eight-story, seven-unit mixed-use building planned for 210 Bowery, in Nolita. Dan Ionescu is designing, and completion is expected by March 2016.
55 Wythe Avenue [Commercial Observer]: Concrete has risen to the third floor of Zelig Weiss’ Level Hotel — a 21-story, 183-hotel-room mixed-use commercial building — located at 55 Wythe Avenue, in Williamsburg. Retail and office space is also included, and completion could be expected as early as “the end of this year.”
626 Driggs Avenue [Real Estate Weekly]: CB Developers — partned with Waterbridge Capital and Ironstate Development — have begun off-site construction of their planned five-story, 254-key modular hotel at 626 Driggs Avenue, in Williamsburg. Garrison Architects is designing, and completion “is expected by [early] 2016.”
